That was how we met, over 10 years ago in Washington, D.C. Now, several jobs, countries, graduate school degrees, a global pandemic, and who-knows-how-many months in quarantine together later, we’re ready to celebrate our commitment with our closest friends and family!
The tram to the Summit for the Wedding Ceremony
Where
Snowbird Resort, Salt Lake City, Utah
This is one of our favorite recreational resorts in Utah. The Wedding Ceremony will be at 11,000 ft elevation (via Gondola). The reception at 7,770 feet. We will make arrangements for those who may need assistance.
The resort is a 30-40 minute drive from SLC Airport, and 30 minutes from downtown SLC.
to Know
This wedding will require some walking. Plan on flats, block heels, or wedges. If you are sensitive to elevation plan to get there early to acclimate. The only substance you should plan on drinking too much of is water! Daytime temperature should be between 60-75 degrees, but the desert mountains can get chilly at night.

Where to stay
Snowbird Resort
We highly recommend you stay here for the following reasons:
Easy access to events. There are no Lyfts/Ubers available, especially at night. Its a dangerous road, which is also why we don’t recommend renting a car during the wedding events. Airbnb/VRBOs that appear close on a map are a literal hike away. Not fun while donning black tie attire.
The resort is a lot of FUN.
We’ve arranged special rates for everyone who stays at the resort, AND complimentary access to the above pictured spa/gym. It is, no joke, one of our favorite spas we’ve ever been to.
To Know
Rates start at $149 under our block. We recommend you stay at the Cliff Lodge, from which all events will commence or be held at. There are three lodging options with various room configurations.
The resort is extremely kid friendly (it’s Utah after all). Think: playroom, trampolines, ZipGlider, Alpine Slide, mountain biking, and hiking through wildflowers. Click HERE for more. Allow for extra time at the SLC airport. It’s brand new, it’s big, and right now it requires A LOT of walking. Take a Lyft from there. Snowbird can also make transportation arrangements.
